Left over goodies are something of a problem in every household this time of year. As January rapidly approaches and that little voice in your head screaming 'this year you will follow through with your healthy new years resolution' emptying out those cupboards and reducing as much temptation as possible can make a big difference.
Now we aren't saying destroy every sugar and carb in your household the send that clock strikes midnight however these 3 little tricks could help you along the way.
1) Out of site out of mind, limit yourself to an acceptable amount, everything else you can bag up and put in a safe place. The loft, under the bed, that shelf int he garage that you cant reach without dragging the kitchen table through the house as a booster! When its not staring you in the face you are less likely to reach for it!
2) Donations, not everyone in this world is as fortunate to have these sort of treats. Local food banks would absolutely love any donations big or small, you are doing yourself and your local community a good deed!
3) Party anyone? Does anyone really need an excuse for a New Years Eve party? I doubt that, so get everyone round, pass the 3 boxes of quality streets out to the crowd and scatter the boxes of After Eights and Ferreror Rochers on the kitchen table. Welcome the new year surrounded by the people you love and kiss away those January temptations.
